Dr. Lisa Holst

A native of Knoxville, Dr. Holst loves being a part of the community where she grew up. She enjoys being a part of so many smiling faces that greet her every day! Dr. Holst combines hometown friendliness and personal care with advanced technology and techniques designed to give amazingly gentle dentistry.

A 1989 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, she believes in the value of advanced education, which includes continuing education and active membership in a variety of prestigious organizations, including:

In her free time, Dr. Holst enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Peter Olberding, a dentist in West Des Moines, and with their twin daughters, Allison and Erica. She is passionate about attending her daughters’ activities, golf, and travel. A real delight is when she can combine all three passions, traveling to watch her twins play competitive college golf. An admitted “continuing education geek” she also enjoys returning to the U of IA for classes and to support the Hawkeyes. She is a member of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce and the Lutheran Church of Hope. A Knoxville schools alumnus, Dr. Holst provides a named scholarship to “Knoxville Dollars for Scholars” annually. Dr. Holst has been on the Indian Hills Advisory Board and enjoys providing internship opportunities for students in their dental assisting program as well as that of Des Moines Area Community College.
